Nolan Ryan, Seattle Sea Gals, Detroit Red Wings Get the Boots!

By Boot Recruit Myra

Grab your energy drinks from the fridge and the TV clicker!  The next four weeks in sports are bound to be spectacular, especially for Boot Campaign fans!   We might as well just use all caps and shout our excitement over this deluge of professional sportsmen who’ve already put their Boots ON!  We’ll need all the half time and 7th inning stretches we can get just to make a few pit-stops!   So based on the following Boot Campaign Celebrities, we’ve got a great line-up of stealing, punting, revving, hat tricks, dancing and the like for your fall entertainment.

First up to bat this evening, Texas Rangers Owner, Nolan Ryan, Jim Sundberg,  Coach Jackie Moore and Right Fielder, David Murphy battle it out with the NY Yankees for a spot in the World Series!  But before the series heated up they put their Boots ON and pitched their celebrity photo at Rangers Ballpark.  No matter the outcome of the game their support of “When They Come Back We Give Back”, scores a homer with the Boot Girls!

Mike Sherman, Texas A & M Head Football Coach, Mack Brown, Head Football Coach for the Texas Longhorns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and the Seattle Sea Gals are all more than ready for some football.  Here’s the kicker: the Seattle Sea Gals will perform their opening number with Boots ON November 7th!  No penalties will be issued for excessive celebration routines!   Mark your calendar on November 14th for an NFL first!   Both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Houston Texans starting line-up and their cheerleaders face off on Military Appreciation day having put their Boots ON for a pre-game boot shoot!

Not a fan of ballgames?  Do you feel the need for speed?  When you get in your Ford Pinto do you dream of being Kasey Kahne, NASCAR competitor and owner of boots,  as you press the pedal to the metal?  You may actually need a calcium supplement after his race Sunday (Oct. 24) in the Tums Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway.  Watch him fly by in car #83 with the Red Bull logo.

Maybe you’d rather take a chill pill and gaze at frozen pucks flying across the ice.  The Detroit Red Wings, 11 time Stanley Cup Champions, traded blades for boots in support of troops!  Wow that has a “rink” to it don’tcha think?

On the other hand, you may be sad that we haven’t mentioned your favorite sport or team just yet.  Take heart Boot Fans!  The Admiral, David Robinson former San Antonio Spur, took a moment to “shoot for two” in his photo with Boot Girl Mariae.   And come the first of the year, we won’t speak in hushed tones; rather, we’ll give a shout out to our celebrities on the links, over on the PGA as they tee-off the 2011 season.

Actually, it’s more than just the next month of superior sports entertainment involving boot-wearing celebrities.  But we’d like to kick-off our coverage with a tribute to our active-duty military.  We honor those who pinch-hit for us on a daily basis so we can enjoy our freedom from the side lines.
