Remember dreaming of being a superstar when you were a kid? Living out our fantasies as rock stars, Olympic gold medalists, and pro-sports cheerleaders somehow got us through the awkward years of Jr. High! If only we could hit the rewind button and see how hilarious we were! You know you still dream of those moments when you see your favs on TV or the silver screen!
Sunday night is your chance to “virtually” live out your dream! Tune in for Fox SportsSunday Night Football and enjoy watching the Seattle Sea Gals perform their opening routine in BOOTS! Yep, you got that right, IN BOOTS! Just imagine! You can put YOUR boots ON and, if you dare, stand in the middle of your media room and pretend you are a pro-sports cheerleader while mimicking the Sea Gals’ routine. No Wii or X-Box necessary! Or, you could just wear your boots. If you don’t have boots, go online next week and bid for boots autographed by the Sea Gals!
We salute these agile ladies for taking boot-wearing to the ultimate level. Not only did they put them on for their celebrity photos, but they went to work in them! That’s exactly the point of having boots: supporting our military by “walking (or in this case dancing) a mile in their shoes”. These exclusive BC photos from the Sea Gals practice field proves working in Boots can put a spring in your step! HAWK fans are already pumped by this fantastic show of support. In fact, Lou Holena commented he was “thinking about taking a part time job as AstroTurf” when he found out the cheerleaders put their boots on! The Sea Hawks plan to honor more than 1,000 local armed forces and their families during half-time on Sunday. What a great way to kick-start the week by honoring Veterans at a professional football game in BOOTS no less!
Then it’s your turn. Veteran’s Day is November 11, so make a point to thank someone. Better yet, get out on your “turf” and thank someone every day this week. They can be found in every town across America. Don’t know any? Every cemetery has at least one. And every town has at least one cemetery. It’s never too late to thank a soldier who, more than likely, had visions of being a superstar too.
